About Us

We have owned Labrador Retrievers since 1972, successfully breeding since 1998. We love the breed and strive to produce the best quality lab possible. LoneWind puppies have been placed in homes for pet, obedience, agility, hunt and show. As well, various service organizations have selected our pups for their programs.

We are fully licensed by Norfolk County and registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC). We are also members of the Labrador Owner’s Club (LOC) and the Ontario Sporting Dogs Association.

We are a small kennel so we are able to provide quality time with each of our labs. This includes twice-daily activity, which could include woodland walks, individual and group play, and pond swimming. This personal attention results in smart, happy, friendly, sociable and well-adjusted labs. Our labs make good companion dogs with gentle dispositions that are suitable for you and your family.

Centrally located in southwestern Ontario, Lone Wind Acres is outside the small village of Courtland (near the town of Tillsonburg), gateway to the rich agricultural lands of Norfolk County. It is a pleasant, scenic drive to our small farm from cities such as London, Toronto, Hamilton, K-W, Niagara and Windsor.
