Litters

Puppies Available

“Remember, It’s Not Just About the Colour!”

Planned litters for Summer & early Autumn:

  1. Puddle (LoneWind’s Puddle Jumper D-vine) & Louis (Can Ch. Epoch’s Louis Vuitton of Castlegar) for an all-chocolate litter.   A photo of Louis is available upon request.  This outstanding litter will be due around September 20th so pups will be ready to go to their pet homes around November 13th.
  2. Sleazy (BlackOak’s Eliza Jane) & Tramp (Tabago’s LoneWind Son) for a chocolate/black litter.  The timing of this litter will be almost the same as Puddle’s.  This should also be an exceptional breeding.

If you decide to have a LoneWind puppy, you can be confident that you are purchasing a high quality lab that has had the very best care possible – before and after birth!

65_wksLoneWind puppies go home at approximately 7-1/2 weeks old. Some breeders allow their pups to leave at 6 weeks but we find that the next 1-1/2 weeks are very crucial in the pup”s social development. Because of the way we wean and raise our litters, our pups are easy to house-train and seem to suffer minimal separation anxiety. Indeed, most of our puppy owners have reported that their pups have had virtually no “accidents” in the house with their pups start sleeping through the night within the first few days.

Our pup price $950.00 which includes CKC registration, microchip identification, de-worming, all inoculations, a 2-year guarantee for hips and eyes as well as a take-home package of Orijen puppy food. Plus, you will receive comprehensive training materials which includes the “Sit, Down, Come, Heel, Stay & Stand” training book, authored by Claire Arrowsmith.

We also send our puppies to their new homes with PetPlan insurance coverage of $750. This gives you peace of mind that your pup can receive the best possible care for the first six weeks with you. This coverage doesn’t cost you anything and there is no obligation for you to continue the coverage; however, should you wish to do so, your pup will have continuous coverage.

We ask for breeding reports every six months up until 2 years of age so we can monitor the development of the pup to aid in our breeding efforts. We supply these easy-to-fill-out reports so don”t let that concern you.

If you are interested in having a LoneWind puppy as a part of your family, you may be added to our waiting list for any of the planned litters. Once the litter is born and it is confirmed that a puppy is available for you, a $350.00 non-refundable deposit is required.  Once you have reserved a puppy, we send you weekly photo updates of the litter so you can monitor their developmental changes and growth.

We trust we have answered your questions, but if you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

You are welcome to visit our kennel at any time, by appointment.
